Permanently Adjustable Original Art

Fraglets® Art is an interactive, "permanently adjustable" art form designed to involve the novice or experienced artist in creating unlimited works of art from a limited palette.  Each piece is magnetized, so that the compositions stay in place, but can also be arranged and rearranged.

Each element of Fraglets Art is painted and custom-cut in my Vermont studio, producing vibrant colors, artistic effects, and interesting textures; no two are alike.

The design of each of the shapes has evolved over the years to reflect the shapes and patterns created or chosen by the thousands of Fraglets artists with whom I’ve worked. The possibilities for creating a unique work of art are endless, and the ability to experiment, select, and move the colors around both engages and then frees the creative spirit.

What can you do with them?

Fraglets® colors and shapes are magnetized and can be used on any surface that contains iron - my specially treated painted canvases and frames, or a variety of other ubiquitous surfaces, such as a refrigerator, file cabinet, mailbox, or even a car. 

There is no such thing as making a mistake. Make your work of art “permanent” by photographing or framing it, or keep it flexible by letting the pieces reflect your changing moods or style. This ephemeral art form opens the door to unlimited creative play.

In addition to designing portable art palettes (kits with painted Fraglets® shapes and colors), I create art compositions on magnetized canvases and surfaces that are suitable for hanging. Click here to visit my own gallery.
